![]() ![]() Missile's spirit has a longer reach than Sissel, and has the ability to swap the position of two objects that are of the same shape. Later in the game, players can switch control to Missile, the ghost of a small dog. If the player fails to save the victim in time, he may choose to go back to the beginning of the four minutes, or return to a checkpoint created when the player manages to alter fate a little. He can also communicate with the ghost of whomever he is saving, but only if the ghost is conscious. In these four minutes, Sissel can attempt to use his Ghost Tricks to alter the situation, and ultimately change the future by saving the person's life. When he does this, he can return to the time four minutes before the corpse's death. Much of the plot is driven by Sissel's ability to possess corpses. For example, moving a tray of donuts will prompt a character to change where he or she is currently seated, as well as giving Sissel access to new areas. These objects are represented by blue cores, and in the Land of the Living, Sissel can animate these objects to perform actions, known as "Ghost Tricks", that open new paths or influence the characters around him. In the Ghost World, Sissel can travel between objects within a certain radius. During gameplay segments, players can swap at will between the Land of the Living, where time flows naturally, and the Ghost World, in which time is stopped. Ghost Trick is an adventure game in which players control Sissel, a ghost who uses his unearthly powers to save lives. A view of the Ghost World, where time stands still and Sissel can transfer his spirit to nearby objects It seems strange for WRC 10 to cater for new and novice players with a variety of settings, driver aids, and tutorials, but opt for a hardcore, one-size-fits-all approach for the marquee Anniversary Mode. At least a couple of the time requirements I’ve subsequently encountered in this mode so far have been surprisingly stiff certainly severe enough for less experienced racers to bounce right off this mode entirely. I thought I was cruising when I notched up the first two events on my first attempts, but that changed on the extremely tough third event (which is actually the fifth event, because confusingly the third and fourth event got skipped and remained unavailable). Inexperienced racers can dial down the intensity of their career and quick race difficulty, but at the time of review, Anniversary mode cannot be changed. One significant issue that some may have with the Anniversary races is that the time requirements don’t scale with the global difficulty setting. They’re just a small collection of time trials with a little bit of text to explain the historical context of what you’re about to do. With its own separate menu and period photography it does feel quite special at first, although there’s ultimately not really a great deal to it. That big 50th Anniversary mode is an important part of this year’s game, and it’s by far the biggest injection of historical content to the series since KT Racing started adding classic cars in WRC 8. While TT Games developed most Lego games, Lego 2K Drive was developed by Visual Concepts, which is mostly known for creating basketball games. The game also includes both cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes, two-player split-screen, and six-player online play. For instance, a land-based vehicle can transform into a boat if it is driven into water. Vehicles can also transform, similar to Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. In the game, players can create their vehicles with 1,000 unique LEGO pieces, though more conventional options, such as those from Lego City and Lego Creator are also available. ![]() In addition to completing the story, players can complete different mini-games and challenges in the game's world. The game features destructible environments, as is common in Lego games. The game is set in BrickLandia, which consists of a number of regions which can be freely explored by players. Lego 2K Drive is a racing game played from a third-person perspective. The game received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the gameplay while criticizing the live-service nature of the title. It was released on May 19, 2023, for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
